Crockpot Cream Cheese Chicken
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 stick butter (*I use 1/2 or 1/4 stick and it tastes just fine!)
1 package Good Seasonings Italian Salad Dressing mix
1 can cream of chicken soup (*I buy one of the healthy versions)
1 bar of cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup white wine
4 cloves garlic
1 small onion, chopped (optional)
fresh black pepper
prepared pasta or rice
In crockpot, place chicken, butter, garlic, onion (optional), a shake of pepper, and package of Italian dressing mix. Cook on low for five hours.
After four hours, add white wine.
After five hours remove chicken and shred. Add soup and cream cheese and stir. Return shredded chicken to crockpot. Stir to combine. Cook on low one hour more.
Serve over pasta or rice.
Total cooking time: 6 hours. Serves 6.
